Hello all,

We obviously all share the same taste in vehicles now, but what about before your EcoBeast. I will go first.

Prior to my EcoBeast I had a 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS.
It was a 5 speed Black/Black 2.0 Turbo direct injection w/ limited slip.
I had the GMPD tune, custom 3 inch exhaust, K&N Series 63 CAI.
It was a fun little car and was very quick. Plus it was pretty cool looking.

When it was time for a new Tow Vehicle it was a no brainer to go with the EcoBeast. When I realized I could get 20+ mpg and still tow our TT with it there was no longer a need to have a seperate daily driver.

Who's next?

I purchased my F150 Ecoboost to replace our 2011 Jeep Liberty 70th Anniversary Edition 4x4 as a toad vehicle for our motorhome. I found out the newer F150 4x4 could be towed four wheels down and two days later had one parked in the driveway. The Ecoboost option was simply icing on the cake. The Jeep only had 21,000 miles on it

After only a few days with the Ecoboost I felt I no longer needed to keep my 2006 F250 V10 manual transmission around for any towing duties and sold it the next week. My F250 had 62,000 on it.

So now we are down to a 3 car couple. The 2013 F150, the wifes 2012 Taurus Limited, and the toy our 1999 Mustang GT 35th Anniversary Limited Edition convertible.

Last 10 years (I tend to changes cars so will focus my attention) 2001 Ford F-150 SCrew V-8. Great truck, but my company moved "downtown" and it would not fit in the parking garage. Than 2003 BMW X-5 - Black on black, 3.0, sport pkg - great family and commuter car. Then a 2006 BMW X-5 White and Tan - Touring pkg - and still in warranty....and This Spring my new 2013 King Ranch - love the truck !

I had a 1994 boosted Acura Integra that ran in the mid to high 11's on a street tune and pump gas. And a 2006 Acura rsx type s. and a 1996 Chevy blazer. The blazer had been through 2 engines and 3 transmissions and started to fall apart slowly, so it had to go. The Integra didn't get nearly the love that I wanted to give to it, yet still bled my bank account just sitting in the garage, so it went to a new loving owner. The rsx got traded in on the truck because I needed 4 wheel drive. Can't very easily drive those small cars in the snow and sure as hell can't pull a boat.

I couldn't pass up the deal I was getting on a $43k truck, so I made the jump and sold all 3 other vehicles, but ill probably end up buying another Acura as a daily.

2001 I had an Mercedes ML 320 then I got a 2002 Mercedes ML 430. In 2004 we went kind of crazy and got a Mercedes G 500 a few months later Hummer H1, later that year I was the third person in the country to have the retro redesign Mustang GT (should have sold that car when I had the chance so many older guys offered me so much money for it lol) by the end of 2005 we had gone through two motors on H1 (it was a bad situation all around to pay that kind of crazy money for a car is always broken and was not made in Italy) we got the lawyer to take the car back by GM on the lemon law. So after that we got an H2 and H3 for what they returned from the H1 and what I got for trading in my Mustang. After moving to Florida from Arizona in 2006 traded my H3 for a 2007 turbo Mini Cooper S that I still have and love dearly spent a lot of time and even more money turning it into a little sleeper beast. Traded the H2 in for a 2009 Land Rover LR3 (that thing was a piece of junk) which was leased and happily gotten rid of. After that I think we had a Ford Expedition for a few months and got traded in for a Mercedes GL 450 that I still currently have.
And finally this year after wanting a truck since I started driving I bit the bullet and bought myself my 2013 EB F150 happiest choice I could've made it's truly a pleasure to get in my truck and drive more so than my other fancy cars. I am a truck guy at heart I grew up with my grandfather and grandmother driving cross country and a Chevy 3500 with a 454 and later a Ford F350 with the old pre-turbo 7.3L :)

2007 F150 Lariat 4x4 traded in 2010 for the F250. Traded the F250 for my Ecoboost because I wanted a smooth riding STOCK truck. That lasted 4 months ;)

I purchased my 2013 ecoboost king ranch 4x4 after 4 years of owning my 2009 4x4 Lariat. Loved my old truck but really love the power in my new one.

Still have my 1986 F250 Dually in the garage. 55k original miles.

Before I got my FX4 Ecobeast I was driving a 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Edition. I miss that hemi but I love my truck too much to go back to it. Eventually I will get another one but not until I finish my Ecobeast Build.
