What layout and what do you monitor?


I like the 9 PID layout but what's the 9 most important things to watch on a daily basis?

I do the 2 big and 6 small. Boost, Knock, Lambda Banks 1&2, STFT, LTFT, Spark Advance and IAT2

You have to create a config file and load it to the Livewire.

Oh ok. I have a config file on my laptop that I use when data logging and it's on there. So I need to load that file to the livewire itself?

Is there a resource somewhere that shows what one should monitor, and what are considered the safe/normal parameters?

I just got a SCT X4 and would like to be able to learn how to read the gauges and data logs.

Livelink? I have the program but haven't loaded any data logs yet.

On other screens (I like the one big dial and 6 small), I found if you double tap on any of the display spots, a menu will pop up and allow you to change a variety of readings ... the item your monitoring and set a "Warning Limit" should the sensor either exceed one limit or fall below another limit. If you don't, the first number of items in alphabetic order in the Config pops up.

I suspect ALL screens are changeable by tapping on the display spot you want to change. It took a while to get the nack of tapping but if your tap twice quickly, and nothing happens, wait a few moments and try it again. Eventually you will get it.

As well, I like to look at the Knock Retard and the Cylinder Head Temp.
