Hi All, new here. I have a 2012 Ecoboost Screw and am getting the Rancho QuickLift package which will basically give a 2 inch lift with adjustable shocks so I can adjust for towing, off road etc.

I dont need to go huge on tires and will be towing a 26' Travel Trailer as well as light off-road but mostly daily use. Thinking of getting a tire in the 285/65R18. Maybe BFG All Terrain, General Grabber or Yokohama Geolander AT. Does anyone have this set up or similar and how does it look/perform?

Going to do a trip down to Oregon this summer and looking forward to see how the truck pulls our trailer.

Thanks, great site and great information

Im lifted 2" in front and 1" in the back and run LT275/65/18. If you're towing go with an LT for sure. I'm still stock size 32" and they look dang good for the smaller tire.

So basically I just had an unloaded 21 MPG 100 Mile trip if you go over 32" you will start to drop your MPG off especially with heavy tires.

I run 317/70/17 BFG all-terrains (2nd Gen raptor rims) on my FX4 with a 2" Autosprings level in the front. No rubbing and average 16.5 mpg, even without calibrating the speedometer for the bigger tires.

I run Toyo MTs 295/55/20 and i get ~14 city ~18 HWY. plus i run a custom perf tune. i averaged 17.8mpg driving from PHX to Vegas last Mo.

I would say if you're doing any significant towing on 3.55 gears, stay below 33" and keep the tire wheel/tire combo as light as possible. and driving/towing with a custom tune is Waaaaaay better than stock.
