Old guy here, so be nice.
I know the stock wheels on my 2013 Fx4 are +44 offset. What I don't get is I am looking at +12 wheels and 295/70/18 tires. So does that mean that the +12 offset will push the rim and tire more outward? I have looked at the offset charts and am still confused? Any help?

Yes. The +12 will be much wider. Are u lifting the truck at all? Or a leveling kit? It may look weird if you keep it at the stock ride height with that wide of an offset
