Just curious when they make the switch to summer gas??? Asking for a friend. :)

I found this

The other reason for the higher cost of summer-blend gasoline is that refineries have to briefly shut down to transition from winter to summer blends. This typically occurs starting in April, allowing gas stations to start selling the summer blend by May or June. They can then switch back in September.

and then this

The federally mandated dates for summer-grade gasoline and reformulated gasoline, where required, are May 1 to September 15 for refiners and terminals, and June 1 to September 15 for gasoline retailers. In California switch over dates are earlier, and summer-grade gasoline must be in use for a longer period.
