so what is suggest - please comment from your personal experience - what worked... what didnt...

looking to buy a programmer now... but confused on which route to go...

I would go with the sct x4, as for tuner depends on what you use the truck for. I have an LET and MPT tune and I love them both. If you do a lot of towing you may want to get a 5* perf/tow.

SCT programmer would be the best route to start. Which tune to run, that's up to you to decide. There's hundreds of pages of useful information regarding different tunes. Pros, cons, fast, slow, safe, ticking time bomb, economy, tow, and anything else you could imagine has been covered.
