Getting a whistle noise at idle and using a hollow tube to locate source, near as I can tell it's coming from this line. Any ideas what it is? looks like it threads into the bottom of the block and then runs up by the booster with some kind of vent cap. Anything I should be concerned with? This truck is new to me so I don't know if this noise has always been there or not. 2015 xlt 3.5l

Scratch that got under the truck more and that's not the source of the whistle. Definitely drivers side whistle though

Found a better tube to hear the sound more focused. Almost sounds like it's in the line running to the cooler. Either way the whistle is just in front of the turbo where the radiator like hose connects. Is turbo whistle at idle normal? Passenger side doesn't do it.

That tube is a vent breather for your xfer case. There's also one for the front diff and rear diff!
