If you don't have the center console (mine doesn't, may work with center console) ....Turn the truck off, wait for dials to go dark then pull the gear selector to you. If that makes sense?
I was waiting to pickup a friend on a cool night so I opened the windows and turned the truck off and was tinkering around with these and was able to make the dials light up by that^

It's be kinda sweet to have just the white without the blue?

Haha u got me. I have white dials. The stick is blue. & you can't do your mod while driving. I got punked
