I'm a bit confused as to the manufacture of the turbo chargers on the ECOBOOST 3.5v6 I have heard from various sources (internet,magazines) that the turbos are made by garret, But I have also heard that borg warner supplies the turbos. SO WHICH ONE IS IT? Just for peace of mind.

I believe they are from BorgWarner.

is that the same for the 2013 and newer cause they have different turbos.

BorgWarner manufactures all the F150 ecoboost 3.5L turbochargers.

garrett supplies only the fwd/awd 3.5L ecoboost turbos found in the taurus SHO, flex, explorer, this is a very different engine layout and piping configuration, not as "heavy duty" and overbuilt as the f150 engine and driveline
