definitely would have to tune for any amount over 15% E85 just to be safe. The "target" AFR with e85 is way different compared to gas. Also a good idea to log fuel pump duty cycle and injector percentage.
Back on my old 04 Titan, I put an e-85 kit on.
It consisted of a module and pulse sensors that piggy backed onto the stock fuel injectors-thats it.
Never had an issue with the setup. Put some special plugs specific for the application.... can't remember the name now.
Never had a problem with the factory fuel pump, fuel lines etc...
It ran pretty lean, so it would trip the engine light every so often.
Ohhh, and I burnt the stock cats up too. :frown:
But it ran hard-trade off not worth it.
I wouldn't worry about mixing e85 to a e15-20 ratio. Truck even says up to e15 right on the gas filler. With all these emissions getting stricter and stricter here in good ol CA we'll most likely be up to e15 before you know it with regular pump gas
What’s the result? Well, basically, winter blend gasoline has a larger percentage of butane in it. And since butane is cheaper and has less energy, winter blend thus costs less and gives us a lower MPG when we burn it. So it’s a wash, right? Eh, maybe. Your vehicle miles per gallon typically will drop 2-8% when you start filling up with winter blend. Unfortunately, evidence suggests that the common price decline is 2-4%. Of course this price change can easily be lost in the noise of a global commodity. So you should probably just make sure you’re car is running optimally (oil change, tire pressure, reduce weight, clean off snow, etc. ) and cross your fingers on breaking even from a cost per unit of energy point of view.

Woo-Boost's Oil Information and Build Thread
I changed my oil yesterday along with the transfer case, rear end and installed Wagner intercooler.
For the oil, I am 0-2 with the Fumoto valve. The first time it was not threading into the hole, found out they sent me the wrong valve after...
Hello. Does anyone know what the changes are from a 2011 style transfercase motor to a 2014 f150 EB? looking at them side by side they look exactly the same, and I am told the transfercases are the same, however the electrical connector is slightly different and you can not plug a 2011 version...
Hey guys. We talk about horsepowwaaaaaas and tunes and whatnot here incessantly. Obviously we all love our twin turbskis and the power we get from them. But, in the end, our trucks really are more than just a motor.
Let's talk about that other stuff. Our trucks have a ton of features. I came...
I posted on here a few months ago that I was looking for my first F150, and based on the criteria I provided I was shocked that everyone said to get the 5.0. My situation has changed since then and I'm still looking but I'm a bit better off now then I was. I'll have a few grand to put down...
