There is more to the story, but they tried to pass this off to me.

What’s the story? TPMS sensors aren’t cheap. Did you ask them advise you on cost?

Math is the main story.

The 'discount' doesn't appear, in the math.

I figured there was already a huge markup on the sensors, as Tasca will sell them to me for $53.58 each.

Yeah, and they have been such a pain, I almost did the same thing.

All 4 of mine are out. Truck's build date is Oct 2015 - a whole 8 years. CR@P parts.

...you can get original ones for fairly cheap online around $50, just find part number using your y/m/m and search for it .
Then get the right batteries but high quality ones...
I didn't think the batteries were replacable. If so, couldn't we just do that instead of buying new sensors and batteies?

I see what @madmaxmutt is saying though. The amount in the description/total doesn't have the discount. So basically they lied to him about getting it.

I bought new tires earlier this year, and had one failed sensor. They replaced that one and said the other three were low on battery life. I chose to wait. Now the remaining three are finally done. Shop where I bought the tires wants $300 to replace them. Trusted independent shop will do it for $220.
