Has anyone replace the unjoints on the 2 piece shafts? One of my joints is bad and they look replaceable but from my understanding the 2 piece is more of a throw away shaft.

Yeah the center support bearing is not replaceable which is dumb, but the ujoints have the snap rings on the ends of the caps just didnt know for sure if its worth it but 50 bucks is better than 600 for sure. Just didnt know if anyone has rebuilt one is all minus the bearing
The bearing looks good from what i can tell, and no vibration the ujoint is making a popping sound at low speed. I noticed it when driving threw a shopping plaza
So everyone who doesnt go through the troubles like i have. So there are about 30 options for ujoints for our trucks. For the 2 piece driveshaft there is only ujoint thatll fit and it the moog 220 joint no one else makes a ujoint for the 2 piece 8.8 hd shaft other than ford and they charge 102 a piece. Figured id share the info
