Retired my 2015 EB with 326,000 miles on it.
Changed oil every 7,500 myself, roughly 44 oil changes.
Spark plugs every 25,000 miles. For some reason it would crack the back passenger side plug at 25K
Changed the oil in transmission and diffs every 150,000 miles.
Replaced throttle body at 175,000 miles.
Replaced high pressure fuel pump at 210,000 miles.
3 batteries
Replaced all 4 O2 sensers at 315,000 miles, driver side CAT is bad, been waiting for the new one from Ford. (ordered Dec 9th 2022)
Had over 8,000 engine hours and 800 idle hours. I think one key thing's is don't let them idle forever.
Averaged 20.4 MPH over the time I owned it, according to the computer.
Guess I got a good one!!

How many of those miles were put on towing something over 5k? It does sound like you got a good one!

If you’re asking me, they’re fine and yes I’ve been seeing that on his channel, it’s caused me to look at them but they’ve never been a concern of mine.
My lines looked fine, until ine popped. Fortunately only 2 blocks from home while pulling the camper. Just rolled over 185,000 on all original mechanicals!

Yeah it’s not a concern of mine as in it’s not a big deal if it breaks. I worry about the big stuff like timing chain and turbo failure or trans rebuild.

im a baby I guess, I’ve only got 22k miles on my 2014, lol…we need a thread for the lowest mileage on trucks that are at least 3 yrs old , so no one shout outs his newbie, lol.

.really though they said the ecoboost is the most reliable of all the F150 engines, based on complaints and maintenance..
also didn’t ford run t on a engine stand at wide open throttle for 24hr or something and then 12000 hrs on a dyno at varying engine speeds for 500k miles then 500k driving on the road , it totaled a million miles without a failure ,that was the 2011model in 2008 before they fix it..

I saw some people are just cutting the crimp off which reveals the barbed end underneath and just running 1/2" transmission hose with clamps from there up to the coolers.
Yeah we used to do that all the time on everything with wheels when customers didn’t want to buy new hoses from the dealer..

Only changed the transmission at 150,000? Wow. How did the used fluid look?

I feel so inadequate now with 178k on my '14!
