Yeah we used to do that all the time on everything with wheels when customers didn’t want to buy new hoses from the dealer..I saw some people are just cutting the crimp off which reveals the barbed end underneath and just running 1/2" transmission hose with clamps from there up to the coolers.
Only changed the transmission at 150,000? Wow. How did the used fluid look?Retired my 2015 EB with 326,000 miles on it.
Changed oil every 7,500 myself, roughly 44 oil changes.
Spark plugs every 25,000 miles. For some reason it would crack the back passenger side plug at 25K
Changed the oil in transmission and diffs every 150,000 miles.
Replaced throttle body at 175,000 miles.
Replaced high pressure fuel pump at 210,000 miles.
3 batteries
Replaced all 4 O2 sensers at 315,000 miles, driver side CAT is bad, been waiting for the new one from Ford. (ordered Dec 9th 2022)
Had over 8,000 engine hours and 800 idle hours. I think one key thing's is don't let them idle forever.
Averaged 20.4 MPH over the time I owned it, according to the computer.
