Well, cause I have no one else to share this stuff with and feel the need too for whatever reason I just put it all here.
Tonight I finally finished up cleaning every bolt from the front end. First I let them soak in vinegar for a week, and then took the wire brush and sanding block to them. Here’s how they look

The bolts on the left are what they basically all looked like to start with, I couldn’t bring myself to put it back together looking like th

In preparation of eventually putting these New(used) shocks in I also put the new 2014 lower control arms in.

You will like that size on the 12th gen. Not a fan of goodyear but a deal is a deal.
I liked my old duratracs on my super duty, I know these probably won’t live up to those but for what I do and like you said the price I paid I couldn’t say no, ko2’s would have been another $1000 more!

KO2's are more of a fad than anything.
Ummmmm, unless you shod a set and live with them, how do you know that? Lol

Admittedly I don't need them to perform in nasty off road conditions, but for the dirt, gravel, mud, rainy slick streets, and especially being great when towing, I absolutely love the KO2's.

And at 25,000 miles, they have proven to wear fantastic. Especially for a tire I expected to otherwise.

But who knows, maybe you are right and I'm just a fashion guy afterall? I DO like the truck to pose for me when I'm walking away from it and looking back at it. [emoji12]

Yeah, for like 30 years. They went from KO’s to KO2’s but they’ve earned their rep. They’re a better than average tire.

That's not exactly a tire review though, nor a reflection of the tires engineering.

Besides, the world would be a sadder place without the American "mall crawler". How would we better off if they were Camrys instead?

Here’s a weird one for you guys. Opened my hood the other day, my coolant expansion tank is bone dry, when I parked it it was at the proper cold fill line.
There is no external leaks either, where could that much coolant go!

When you parked it was a warm motor, but was at the cold fill line?

Sorry worded that weird maybe, trucks been parked for about 2 months. The first week I had the hood open the coolant was where it was supposed to be, it’s now empty but there is no leaks!

Well I’ve got one side of the front done going start the other right now, was lucky enough once again to snag the fox 2.5’s from @Blown F-150!

Excited to see the difference in ride quality over the belltech lowering struts..
