A couple more things mounted to the panels. Sorted out where to put the shovel, but need more mounts.

Still not sure what to do about the jack.

Hit the scale tonight as I was curios what it weighed now with the winch and some of the stuff that is now in it.

Total with me in it and a full tank of gas was 6,457lbs. Pretty chunky, lol!

I noticed just how wore the front pads were when doing the coil-overs. I tackled the rotors and pads today. Straight forward, but had the beat the daylights out of the rotors to get them loose.

I went with PowerStop rotors and Raybestos pads.

Did the bed-in procedure tonight. I’ll test them tomorrow.

Did the oil change today and it was the first time I got to give the Fumoto valve a shot. It works pretty slick, only downside I noticed is that it takes longer to drain the oil. Not really a big deal, but something I noticed.

Also pulled the sway bar off. It handles well enough with these coil-overs that I already sold the sway bar today. Planning on doing some exploring this weekend, getting stoked.

I’d like to do the same but I fear with a lift it won’t be as comfortable

It isn't as flat in the corners without the swaybar for sure, but not as bad as I thought by any stretch. Still WAY better than stock, the AAL's in the rear probably help a bit too.

Bonus is that it ride much smoother over rough roads and train tracks.

I had to move things around on the panels a bit to get everything to fit. Just need some quick fist mounts for the shovel and we are all set. Only downside with this config is that the Jerry can blocks one of the tie down points. So I may try to move it a bit once I know exactly how I will get the shovel mounted.

Also bagged up my basic recovery gear stuff. Instead of buying the “kit” for $360, I pieced this together for about $140.

I keep a couple of “D” rings in the truck all the time as the recovery strap always sits behind the seat.

I would also appreciate some feedback on the improvement and your thoughts. Been a few weeks now I think, are you planning on leaving the sway bar off? These are in the front correct? 2.0s in the rears?

Also how much change do you notice with the rotors and pads?

I predict you will love them.
Even with both normal and high compression on soft, for street, they give the truck tons of composure.

Not sure best thing to do to get "balance" without putting them on the rear too.

Suspension dynamics is always a dance of harmony, or lack thereof, between all contact patches.

I'll admit with 4 corners that it's a bit less punishing than with 2, like a motorcycle, but the physics still apply.

Regardless, those are definitely not poser kit. It's legit!

I'll get something up on the Fox's soon. Very impressed after putting them through their paces this weekend.

As for the brakes, I'm very happy. I think they started to really bed in over the weekend. I had to do a "evasive maneuver" today. A pair of motorcycles pulled out onto a B road right in front of me and one of them missed a gear (I guess they figured they could rocket out and keep from slowing me up). Anyway, I slammed on the brakes pretty hard and figure there is roughly 15% more braking power than the OEM set up. If I was smart, I would have done a before and after 60-0 test.

Sway bar is sold, so I have no plans on putting it back on. I like a decent handling vehicle (even if it's more than 6000 lbs) and even with out the sway bar, I'm pretty happy.

Honestly, I don't disagree, but the 2.0's on the rear with the AAL's seem to be a pretty awesome combo. Keep in mind though, that my truck is heavier and I carry a couple hundred pounds of crap with me where ever I go. One could only assume that stepping up to the 2.5's in the rear would be even better.

I've messed around with the compression settings a bit and it was nice to actually be able to feel the change it made.
