Why is your power dropping after 5500 RPM?
Gotta check the logs to confirm, but the truck wasn’t tuned on the Dyno, so it looks like the lower load commanded less torque then on the street. I wanted to add load to a Dyno run to confirm, but we ran out of time. If this thing hits the rollers again, I want to test out that theory.

I’ll know more after I review the logs. I was in a bit of a rush, with a big road trip that started this morning. We did just over 600 miles today and have another 400 tomorrow.

If stock ecoboost makes 290, what does a new HO engine/raptor make?
I didn’t ask, but they’ve tuned a couple Raptors, so I’ll ask. He did say that I was the highest HP V6 they have had. But they do a Ton of ZL1’s and big vettes.

Do one of those altitude conversions, it would be making a lot of power closer to sea level. As I said though, any car where you are, even a big cubic inch engines (n/a) will be dragging an anchor vs you.

Procomp, not made in USA? That is junk. Make sure you tell them
I’m not gonna hold a whole lot of faith in this. But this calculator says correction factor of 1.152 for yesterday’s conditions. That would be 545whp.

Fun to play with the numbers, but I would want a sea level (or close to) actual Dyno run. The Dyno I was on should have been doing some corrections to get a SAE number.

I’ll be letting ProComp know about the springs. I guess I gotta save for some Deavers.

I thought the bigger turbos and ported heads should keep making power after 5500rpm.

What’s with the dip in the middle of the pull?

Timing still being smoothed it. Gotta love 16+ spark tables.

Loading the dyno would have helped a little up top. Still fine tuning but this is a big jump forward on his truck.

That's awesome! Getting all the kinks worked out before you get my motor going [emoji51]

I agree, but as BK mentions it would have been better if we could load up the dyno. I'll have to keep it in mind if the truck goes back on the Dyno. I'm not sure the effect of the elevation up top, but we'll see as we hammer refine further. If the tune was developed on a dyno, Probably would look better on the sheet.

I can see in the logs, that the load really dips when the HP dips on the sheet. I'm just gonna chalk it up to a Dyno thing since the truck pull consistently on the street.

I underestimated the amount of bugs I'd see on there

I figured since I was heading out east to do some visiting, that I would bring some E85 to test and compare.

I’m down to around 1000ft of elevation and went for a drive last night with a e20 blend.

It was pretty warm and humid, but the truck still runs considerably stronger. 4#/min more air and still hitting 20* of timing.

0-60 without any boost launching is a flat 5 seconds according to the logs. I couldn’t boost launch in 4hi, because it would spin and buck.

Cool stuff, it would be cool to get Dyno numbers at this elevation, but no opportunity where I am.
