I figured since I was heading out east to do some visiting, that I would bring some E85 to test and compare.

I’m down to around 1000ft of elevation and went for a drive last night with a e20 blend.

It was pretty warm and humid, but the truck still runs considerably stronger. 4#/min more air and still hitting 20* of timing.

0-60 without any boost launching is a flat 5 seconds according to the logs. I couldn’t boost launch in 4hi, because it would spin and buck.

Cool stuff, it would be cool to get Dyno numbers at this elevation, but no opportunity where I am.

Sounds like good problems... time to relocate :D

Did you mention what your airflow numbers were on the dyno? Or street? And was it 4# higher at peak or pretty much the whole curve?

I'm comparing 3rd gear last night to 4th gear on the Dyno, so it's not exactly apples to apples.

If I look at 5500rpm where the truck made the most HP on the Dyno, the runs from last night show 47.38#/min vs. 44.73#/Min on the Dyno.

If I look at peak airflow last night was 54.1#/Min and peak on the Dyno was 48.04#/min.

Again, keep in mind that this is comparing 3rd on the street to 4th on the Dyno.

Elevation obviously makes a big difference.

Spent most of the day getting the garage organized and playing outside with the family.

I managed to get a couple things done on the truck. Methods back on for Winter, rigid SAE dogs installed up front and custom painted Ford Badge on the back swapped out.

Thanks for hooking me up with the lights @RMB_Ryan!

Not a coincidence, but as soon as you northern brothers start to see white, WE finally get a gust of your wind and fall below 90's!

I'm kinda expressing my gratitude without wishing any mysery at your expense. Lol

Ha, it’s fine with me. I grew up in the snow and enjoy a lot of winter activities.
