It's always rewarding to do as much of the work on your own as you can, but if you have the money to pay someone and don't have the time to do it yourself then there's not a thing wrong leaving it somewhere. It's what I did. Always a great reward seeing someone drool over your truck. Something I don't get much of anymore having a stock truck haha. I'm sure those coilivers will make it ride great! With me being in nursing school, I don't have much money or time to do anything crazy just yet. All I can do now are cosmetic things. Smoked third brake light and mirror reflectors, tailgate light bar, LED swaps interior/exterior , AFE intake and plenty of cleaning is all I can muster these days. Tailgate assist, LED bed lights, grill, tint, possible HID fog light swap and front turn signal switchbacks are all I have in mind until the warranty is up. In the process of painting the edges of the tails and putting on my black and silver emblem overlays. The mods are NEVER ENDING! I'm sure you feel the same way about the NEVER ENDING part, as are many on this forum.

Time to save my pennies....
I've been waiting for someone to really produce a lift kit to run 37s and it appears it's finally here....
After sizing up my suspension set up, I'm positive that I can run 37's on third perch. They wouldn't be able to be wider than 13.50 though.

Abel, when are you regearing?

Not sure yet ive seen a write up about a guy going to 4:88 on our rear end he had to piece everything together and there was some modifying to get it to work.
There is not a kit for larger than 4:10 now..
im on 3:73 and mpt tune and it still moves.
prb be after I get my amp steps if i do decide to re gear.
should help my mpgs which range from 13-14.5 which is about the same as a Raptor if I can keep my foot out of it prb be a little better.
your going to have to do some trimming to fit the 37's..
my truck is at the shop now getting the coilovers adjust up. I shouldnt rub at full clock anymore.

I'm not going to run them, but I think I could with my rim's offset.

The only difference between the pre '11 and our rear ends is the size of the pinion bering's O.D. I seen a guy was putting together a new bearing kit not to long ago.

Yeah that might have been the same read..
Im going to wait.. I couldnt imagine going to 4:56 with this same tune..
the truck is already pretty fast for a big ass truck.. She gets her ass out on the hwy with no problems
I found that my bigger tires helped out my top end a good bit.

Well I pulled my AEM wideband out of my other car to use it on my truck..
but all the flashy lights on the AEM was to much rice for my truck..
I picked this up very simple blue Led to match the factory style dash lights.
if you guys dont have one of these and are throwing custom tunes on your truck This is by far the most important tool to know if your motor is going to go kaboom or your running lean or rich
My SCT had one built in. Just hard to read at glance especially while your in the middle if a full WOT pull so in the middle of the pull if you see a lean condition you can let off the throttle very quickly to figure out whats going potentially saving your motor.

I ran innovative in my old turbo daytona and they work well and are a very easy install.

But does it work off existing 02 on the truck or do you have to weld in a new bung before the cat at the bottom of y pipe?
