Has anyone built a Eco pre runner yet?

Share the knowledge please :)

Thinking of going with king shocks

The icons look sweet but way over priced.

Everywhere I've read the kings are a better performer.

Opinions?

I'm looking at you Pinero ;)

I was actually going to build a somewhat legit pre runner into mine but decided against it because the new 2015 is coming out, dirtfreak.com suspension seems the best and makes better suspension than raptor stuff....legit stuff is gna cost ya about 3-4g and up for just the front end

I thought the same, but a whole new redesigned frame is gonna take a while before a kit will be available.

Plus with all the fuel solutions coming out. It's gonna be a better option to stick with the 1st gen Eco. 700lbs can be closely shaved down with the fiberglass panels.

Yeah, I had misspelled king.

What's the likely hood of you taking on this project?

If I lived in Az or Tx, mine would already be sitting on long travel w/ 37's. But, living in La there's not much use for anything more than the mid-travel Icon setup.
Very likely to happen, it was my initial plan and after I got over the "drag queen" moment I had I'm back to this lol.

So iv'e been trying to gather info as to why go 3.0 shocks over 2.5s

don't wanna join another forum and deal with douche bags lol

I get that the 2.5s will heat up quicker, but what advantages other than that will the 3.0s give me

i mean 2.5s with 2.0 bump stops would be a nice setup and not crazy expensive

Hey,
Thanks for the mention. We just joined this forum and look forward to being on here.
We do make suspension kits for 04-08 and 09+ Ford F150's. We do have a few different levels. We have been making suspension kits for years. We have ran our suspension on many trucks. Street and race. We just began branching out into doing bolt on kits for everyone to enjoy and have some fun with. In 2014 this will be our main focus. I am always available for questions or talk most of the time. As we transition into all these kits I will be updating and doing a new online store setup for you to better navigate and get information. Thanks again.
Here are some pictures of the Ecoboost we did for a customer a few months ago as well.
DFMS Long Travel Race Kit, King Offroad Shocks, Fiberwerx Fiberglass fenders, Method Race Wheels, Deaver Leaf Springs used on this project.
Welcome!!

You will have PM :)
