I brought my 2016 F150 2.7 Eco in to the dealership for recall 24e03. I had no drive ability issues prior to bringing it in for this PCM update. Now when I’m at a stop and begin to drive the automatic transmission slams when shifting between first and second gear. I called the dealer and said I wanted it reset to the prior PCM program. The service manager said they can’t do that and to just drive it a while because the power train has a learning curve. Any suggestions??

I have had one harsh shift on my 3.5 2014 vintage. Otherwise normal, still wants to hang in forth when towing for longer than I think it should, but what do I know. I wouldn’t get too excited until you put some miles on the update.
