Bambi & DLR work like a champ!
Hopefully I can activate the sub/Kicker plug & play harness within the rear crew drivers door area....
Still, well worth it.....truck is feeling a bit anxious-lol

Lol, i bet that was taken in Utah. They always have hilarious messages on the signs over I-80 and I-15.

Just upgraded to the OBDlink mx. I was using a cheap generic HS-can only adapter for a few years mainly for torque pro. Read speeds are much better now.

As for Forscan, i just changed soft signal flash from 3 to 4. personally I'm not a fan of the Bambi mod, hurts your long range night vision.

The hyperflash mod is a great one to do if you added LED turn bulbs.

I am very surprised in the difference in my XLT when I turned on the Sub/Kicker harness.
I have the stock radio setup....but last year I replaced all door speakers with the Kicker 6x8's thinking I would get a huge difference in sound quality-didnt happen.
Now, their is total separation from the tweets to main speakers...meaning the sound is pretty darn good for slight upgrade.
I don't have the Kicker Sub yet but that's coming!
Very happy with Forscan!
I also changed up my turn signals [emoji106]

I found the fog's were boarderline useless with the factory HID's anyways. I upgraded to Morimoto XBLed foglights after installing them on my Jeep and being impressed. They didnt have as much effect on my truck.

The one thing I will say is that fogs light up the sides of the road much better and have helped me spot some deer I may not have. I have had a few close calls lately.

You can adjust tire size in Forscan in one of the modules and you cannot add gauges but you can display the actual numbers over water & trans temps.
On one of the other forums a user started and maintains an awesome list of changes and there are several tire sizes listed in his spreadsheet.

I just installed the kicker sub yesterday but don't have a way of turning it on yet besides berge Ford. I have the 7 speakers in my 17 xlt and have read good things about the changes that happen when you activate the sub harness.

Like on this. I may have searched over on another forum for this, but great spread sheets. Nice calculator to get your tire size to a hex value too. Will check against a GPS speedo tomorrow. Thanks for making me look :)

I’ve looked around a bit but don’t see this adapter discussed. Wondering if anyone is using the FORSCAN LITE with their iOS or Android device along with the OHP ELM327 OBD2 WiFi adapter (pictured below)? When it comes to FORSCAN LITE how LITE is LITE? I’m thinking you have to be giving up something. I can potentially see dropped signals or incoming calls being an issue using WiFi connection but maybe it’s better than I’d suspect. It would be great to use an Android Phone or iPad Pro via WiFi as opposed to pulling a much larger Windows machine out. If I could do this I’d be a happy camper. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't see a problem with that adapter. I'm using a dirt cheap generic Wifi adapter and it works fine. I use the IOS and Android version of Forscan Lite. By Lite they mean you can't enable stuff in there like the Windows version. No changes like that. Mainly DTC, logs of perameters, gauges, that kind of stuff. Functionality between IOS and Android is the same. Same look and everything. I use an Android 7" tab with mine so it doesn't take up my phone. Usually when driving I have my phone on my stereo using Carplay, so the tab is a necessity. Hope this helps.

Forgive my naivety but if you don’t mind let me ask. As this adapter has the switch or the ability or what I assume is the ability to write (enable stuff), is there a “full” version of FORSCAN for iOS or Android? I didn’t see that on Google Play or Apple Play. This adapter does not claim to be Windows compatible so I’m wondering what the switch’s function might be?

I’m sure it’s obvious that I’ve never used FORSCAN or an adapter. ;)

Nope. None of the phone versions carry the ability of the laptop app. Basically the forscan Lite is = to Torque pro if you're familiar.

And i'm not too sure about what the switch does. Mine doesnt have one.

Can’t see where it is printed but I’m wondering if this is also Windows compatible.

Google any model number on that and see if you can get any kind of manual for that. I'd want to make sure of what that is.

I actually thought of this. Neither Amazon or OHP Tools list a model number for this. I thought that they might have a comparison chart to see how it stacks up to their dongle model. I did however find a PDF for it. It does not specifically say that it works with Windows OS but does specify that missing config files are to be added via a Windows machine. I’m still looking.

EDIT: Found another similar wireless model on Amazon. It does indeed support iOS, Android and Windows. So... I’m spit balling here but I’m thinking you can monitor via iOS and Android and modify using Windows???

Im not sure, but it makes sense, and if I were to guess, i'd say that's correct.

Played with Forscan for the first time tonight. Pretty happy with the few changes I wanted to make.

- Nav enabled while moving (setting destination, etc.)
- Turned off hyper flash for the turn signals (Now I can finally put in the front LED bulbs
- Bambi mode
- Turned off TPMS (don't have them in my new wheels yet)
- Turn signal tap to 4 flashes from 3

I may try enabling the equalizer on my Sync 2, but can't think of much else I would do.

I forgot about the TPMS (for my separately mounted snow tires). That was the primary reason for getting Forscan. Tired of the warning during winter when I have my snow tires installed.

Also, I prefer having my driving lights as my DRLs. Amber signals are just not noticeable enough and I don't like "burning out" my headlights sooner than necessary. Driving light bulbs are cheaper and easier to replace.

How easy was it to get your driving lights setup as your DRL's?
