Generator Mode ON While Driving

Yesterday I was looking at feature settings in my truck looking for an Eco Coach setting and noticed that "Generator Mode" was on and apparently comes on at startup (I assume to power 110 Vac outlets inside the cab). Is there any advantage to to be had shutting it off while driving if the outlets aren't needed?

Are you sure it's Generator mode?
Were both banks lit up? Or were you seeing just the left bank lit?

I believe it's true that the inverter is in play when you are driving, but it's just the power being supplied to the outlets in the cabin, similar to the non Powerboost trucks in-cabin inverter.

Technically, it IS on, but not in what Ford calls "Generator mode", which is simply providing power from the inverter to the panel in the bed of the truck. That panel has the 240V outlet, which is what requires the second bank to light up in the Sync display.

Which, by the way, IS available while you are driving if you turn the "generator" on. :)
It is just the left bank active but the "Generator Mode" switch is blue (on). I can turn that switch off and both banks are then gray and I assume the outlets inside the truck will no longer be powered. Just curious if there would be any advantage to turning it off. Since nothing is plugged in I know it's not consuming much energy other than whatever small amount goes into the circuit monitor.
