Bought a 2 year old white Screw. Paint is in great condition. I'd like to take off the ecoboost and F150 badges on the side of the truck. I don't want to take the back F150 badge off on the tailgate, because I heard there are holes to fill. So, what's the best way to remove the badges?? Sawzall??

I poured coca-cola on the ecoboost badge and let it dry. I then tried a blowdryer to activate the sodium to remove it but no luck. Ended up getting a heat gun and held it on the badge on the HIGH setting for about 10 minutes...until the badge started to fall off by itself.

Either way you do it, it isn't hard to remove them.

razor knife or grinder to carefully cut the glue. be careful you don't hit the paint.

I used fishing line and just cut through the glue behind the emblems.... use rubbing and polishing compound to get rid of any residue you see.... my truck was new so depending on how old yours is you may just be able to pull off the rest of the sticky

There are mounting holes behind the F150 fender badges as well.

Fishing line to cut the badge off, 3M Adhesive Remover for the left-overs.
I used my thumb nail to peel off the majority of the 'foam'.

heat em up at the car wash, put the tip of a knife blade behind it and pull. when you can get enough purchase on the emblem with your fingertips, rip it off. Soak the rest in wd-40, and work it off with your fingernail until you can't get anymore. use more wd-40, and rub the rest off with a microfibre towel

fishing line and a 3M eraser wheel that you put on a drill. Can debadge a truck in minutes like this

4-6 solid blows with the hammer should do the trick.

If you're serious about the fender emblems, this is what you'll find:

Three alignment/mounting holes on the 09-14 models.

But the end result is nice!
