Was thinking about this as I watched a local video of a guy getting his car jacked. Is there a simple kill switch that can be operated by a remote to disable this truck if carjacked. I know this truck is very finicky with electronics and don't want to make it worse. Is anyone using something they can recommend for the f150. The simple the better. Thanks

I have a feature enabled on my truck where if the fob isn’t in the truck. You aren’t able to shift the truck out of park without it. So if the truck is running somewhere they can’t shift it into gear and drive away without the key fob.

You could build something like you want. You’d just have to figure out a starter signal wire and wire a relay inline from there.

I had a mechanic program my old 2001 F350 to only start if the lights or parking lights were turned on. Easy. Sold it that way in February, Surely there is something that can be done with our later model trucks.
I am not so concerned, out of that hole of crime, Houston, now.

There is an inertial fuel pump shut off in the kick panel. If the in-tank pump does not turn on the vehicle will not start. KM
