I am too cheap for BFG's now, didn't get more than 35k out of my last and 2nd set. Just ordered a set of these Falken Wildpeak A/T3W in LT285/70R17 for the truck @ 170ish each.

They are 10 ply, E load range, have the winter rating, and have some excellent reviews.

Anyone else tried them?
Nice tire, had them on my Jeep.

With a stock wheel or stock offset you shouldn’t need a level to fit 285/70/17. Fit perfect on my stock 2017 S-crew, have 1.5” fox lift now but no need to fit

Here's mine. Nitto G's are super quiet and gives it an awesome stance.

The 285/70/r17 is almost the exact same size tire as the 285/60/r18 so I thought I would show pictures with my 18 inch wheel setup for some comparison

No.

285/70-17 isn't almost the size of a 285/60-18.

285/60-18 wishes it could be almost the same size as 285/70-17.

Not sure where you came up with that? 285/70-17 is a 32.7" tire and a 285/60-18 is a 31.46" tall tire....
Oops!! I meant 285/65R18 for mine. I am going off tiresize.com which shows 32.6" height compared to 32.7" and both have a 11.2 width. I am not pretending to be an expert on tire sizes.

Is this showing incorrect?:

3 inch level with raptor wheels n tires
Did you remove the frame bracket in front of your front tires.

I have raptor wheels to put on my unleveled 2018 but have to remove the frame bracket to get the required clearance. I don't want to cut the bolts so I have been looking at a way to raise the radiator support, without removing it, so I can get the bolts out. So far I haven't figured out a way.

Are you referring to the crash bars?
