You're welcome.
No scatter for sure, so little in fact that its hard to even catch a reflection of them from the car in front of me at stop lights. I wouldn't know they were on aside from the ground being so well lit up.

I followed my wife in my truck a few weeks ago. Have mine set up in the center of my brush guard, aimed outward. She covered all three lanes on her side of the road, ditches on both sides and part of the oncoming lane towards the other side. Then she lit everything up. I don't understand why anyone would want to pass me on a dark stretch of highway...they always hesitate when I dim my lights. It's funny.

I cannot take all the credit. The general idea was mentioned by a member on another forum. I googled the living crap out of Ridig, Dually, Fog light, etc and never found anything other than people bolting them directly to the bumper mounted bucket; nothing into a light housing. Figured I'd give it the old college try and I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm actually most shocked at how little they move once mounted. I didn't put a washer between the nut and the Rigid mount and they've yet to move.

Why did you wish to avoid mounting straight to the bumper?

Doing it this way retained the ability to use the stock adjustment screw. The beam is so well defined that the need to aim them is high. Trying to adjust the height once mounted directly to the bumper or the bucket would be damn near impossible since the Rigid bolts are on the sides of the Dually. Aiming them is just as crucial as aiming the headlights. Just takes a turn of a screw to align them now.

Your welcome ;)

That did seem to work out well.

I drilled out the side of the bucket so I can still get an Allen wrench in to adjust them.

These are on my list to purchase for this summer, now I need to figure out what to do with all my d2's haha

I thought about that but that was more holes that I didn't want to create. The nice thing is that I can put the stock halogen housings back in within 20 minutes and nothing looks different. To each their own though...I like the outcome even if it was a bit of work.

Anyone know of a model that has plastic inserts to go in the hole instead the fog light? Like a black plastic plug for the fog hole?

I looked for stuff Rob but they were all stupid expensive. Rigid makes of bunch of stuff for Jeep Chevy and Toyota openings but I couldn't confirm the diameters of those openings. But like I said those kits were all $50+ and I just wasn't going to spend coin on that stuff.

I'm just looking for the insert in a low trim level from ford. I saw something on a different forum I'm going to try if I find some, gm guys and all their plastic parts are lucky in this aspect lol.

Trying to create something like this...
Yep those are the kits I'm talking about. Rigid has them on their site. It's an entire mount specific to that vehicle.

Nope that's a plastic insert off a low trim model gmc, he the sandwiched the light lense through the plastic inster and made that. Used a series of washers and bolts to adjust the light. That would be a super clean install with the new Rigids. Found the guys build looking for mounting ideas for a friend who just bought a gmc and is jealous of my setup haha.

Projectoretrofits.com has f150 specific brackets. They were designed for the r series, but will work with these.

I don't think TuxBlack's brackets will work with the Duallys. They're far too shallow as they were designed for the aviation R-series...not to mention I'll NEVER buy something from that guy as his response times and customer service are absolute crap.
