So I got a 2012 3.5 with 195k(yeah I know its alot lol). And I has a horrible misfire under hard acceleration and the flashing check engine light, so I changed the spark plugs, ran some injector cleaner and it made a world of difference, it runs absolutely perfect unless I'm seriously getting on it, no check engine light or anything but it shudders and sorta feels like it's missing when in the throttle hard, just wondering if theirs anything I should replace/update that could help since the motors seen some miles. Any help is appreciated!

Someone is going to suggest that you drill a 1/16" hole in the low point of your Intercooler, or at least remove the Intercooler and drain the condensation/junk out of the bottom of it.

What you describe is the combustion chamber ingesting that nasty liquid when you go WOT.

You may need new plugs again after draining it?
The tiny little hole will keep it drained.

You have condensate in your intercooler, aka a mix of oily crankcase vapors and water that has collected in the bottom of your charge air cooler (CAC) when you accelerate hard, it is getting sucked up into the intake and causing a misfire.

Consider this the aforementioned suggestion that you drill a hole, approximately 1/16” in diameter that allows this to escape rather than build up. My official recommendation is that you pull the CAC and give it a thorough cleaning first rather than just letting that stuff spray out everywhere.

If half of it is covered by plastic in the front, I removed that part which was added by Ford as a lame tsb intended to solve the condensation problem

search “pee hole in my CAC,” “intercooler weephole” on this forum and/or youtube

edit: ive got 216k on the clock and still running strong

I did the weep hole mod in mine (less than 1/16") and it, too has left a permanent stain on the driveway from where my truck sits. It's less than 2 or 3 drops per day, but definitely present. When I first did it, the truck had about 240k and I did a rip down the street by my house and once it hit boost there was a line of stuff that had sprayed out about 10' long.
