I use the Milwaukee m18 compressor only because I also use Milwaukee tools. I deflate my tires to 15psi when running at the strip or Mexico, and the compressor will put me back up to 38psi within 2 minutes. The bigger the battery, the better it works.

I decided to get a Black & Decker 20V inflator. It's probably not as good as all that were suggested to me, however I already have a B & D 20V drill motor. The drill motor lives in my TT. I use it to lower & raise the stabilizers on the TT.

We'll see how well it works.

Thanks for all the help.

I use a Ryobi too. It does the trick for tire inflation and other stuff.

This works like a charm to me either.

Right now I carry a real compressor with a 2-5 gallon tank in my truck. It's somewhat bulky, and not the easiest tool to get out of the truck.

For a while, I had a small Cobalt inflator. It hit the spot as a light weight tire inflator. Unfortunately it broke within a couple of years.

So I'm looking for a replacement so I can leave the compressor at home.

I've read Viair is good, but those run from under $100 to over $400. Are they good, and will they do the job. It would be used mainly for inflating the car, truck, and travel trailer, and would live in the truck.

And if there are other models that will do the job, I'm open to getting one of them also.

I do not have unlimited $$$ to spend. If a $200 model will do the job, I don't need to spend a lot more money for one that has every bell and whistle known to man.

I carry a small Ryobi inflator thats apart of the one plus series. It does the job but takes time as you have to give it a break every 5 min (says the owners manual). Works on air mattresses and what not as well and its small enough to fit in my tote of wheelin stuff or under the rear seat. Going strong for two years now. Its definently nothing fancy but fits the bill for what i need.
Viair if it hasn't already been suggested. Carried one for years in my truck for filling tires on the truck and travel trailer.

@BRowland - the site is having link embedding issues. I tried to find the right link to the compressor and edited into your post. Please verify it is the correct product. Thanks!

I have a Viair 88P I bought on Amazon for $73 in 2020. The same model is ~$80 now. You need to run the engine when using it. Not as convenient as cordless. But, you do not have to remember to keep it charged.

I got this little 18v Ryobi, basically to have compressed air to blow out spark plug holes during plug changes, and other light duty compressed air needs.
I also got to use my locking adjustable wrenches when assembling the air hose connectors!

What are you doing in the wrong garage right now? You sneaking home everyday for some comfort?

I no longer have the Ryobi air compressor. A test in my garage today, trying to blow out dust from my big shop fan, determined, unequivocally, that a standard turkey baster has more air volume and force than the Ryobi unit. I am glad Home Depot has a good return policy.

I unboxed and broke in my Metabo compressor Sunday, then ran it with a blow off tool for a while. It’s loud when running and took a while to fill to 200 psi. After that it was great. The blue air hose I bought is plenty long. The older smaller yellow coil air hose is something that will just stay in the accessory case.
