My bed cover came with drain hoses and very little in the way of directions to connect them. So, this is how I did it.
I suppose you could do this with any drain hoses, but the size and experimentation is on you or that. My UnderCover Flex came with something very similar to 1/2 inch Poly sprinkler hose for the two drain pipes. I had seen people bend those hoses to get it out of the bed. I didn't like that idea. I decided to use 45 degree hose connectors, but that didn't really work out once I saw how the hose was going to sit in the bed of the truck once connected.
I ended up using a total $3.47 worth of sprinkler connectors from Lowes and some spray paint I had at the house.
First remove the bed plugs from underneath the bed on both sides. Use a screwdriver to carefully depress both tabs on one side then the plug(plate) should pop out into the truck bed. Note: The tabs are VERY weak so be careful.
The parts:
I sanded down the threads about 1/4" to make the connector fit tightly together around the bed plug.
Drill a hole CAREFULLY using almost NO pressure on the plastic plate (plug) with a 13/16 spade bit. The ECO Lock connector should fit snug , but you could sand/file a little out of the hole if necessary. You cannot screw the connector all the way in.
Once the dry fit was done, I taped and painted them black just for personal preference so they wouldn't stand out in the bed.
The two connectors simply screw together on each side of the bed plug.
Plug installed back in the truck. You just push it back into place.
Drain outlet from underneath the truck.
Drain Connected.
Both side drains.
I am not completely satisfied, but for a couple of bucks, I think it looks pretty good.

- 2x 1/2" ECO Lock x 1/2 90 degree connectors (The drain hose inside the bed fits perfectly into the ECO Lock end)
- 2x 1/2" poly insert female (Outside the bed)
