I'm curious if there is anyone on here that has over 100K miles on their 2.7 EB?
If so, what if any issues have you experienced with this engine?

I don't think any 2.7EB have been around long enough to achieve high miler status barring very specific circumstances.

All the 3.5EB with 400,000 mi + that I know of are pre-'15.

The 60,000 mi a year guys will need 7 years to obtain 420,000 mi.

Curious to know what the status is. Any issues ?
I am about to pull a trigger on a 2018 F150 - 2.7L ecoboost with 196,000 km (121,178 miles) SuperCab model.
Seems like mostly highway driven , the guy put 58,000 kms in first year, but has off-road wheels now (will recheck once again no damage underneath), took a test drive sounded and felt good. I intent to use for hauling stuff.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

My 2015 Ecoboost 2.7 started smoking at start up and it felt like the engine was missing. Took it to the dealer and they diagnosed the problem as a tube/seal in the left side turbocharger and either a bad spark plug or coil pack. The truck has been trouble free for 5 years but this latest issue made me think about future problems that might arise.
While I was at the dealership, I test drove and bought a 2020 F-150 with a 5.0 V-8- back to the tired and true

The 2018+ 5.0's have not exactly been trouble free. Quite a few people have had them replaced due to oil consumption issues.

As a 2014 owner, looking from the outside in at all the motors in the 2015+ trucks,it's pretty hard to argue that the 2.7 isn't at least as good, if not better, than the 5.0 in terms of reliability.

I don't know about tired.

First, a 2020 is a gorgeous truck. No?

And it's not like the coyote doesn't have great peak numbers. It's just that you have to ring its neck to get them. Fortunately, it kinda likes having its neck rung. Enjoy!

My Dearborn late build (09/2018) F-150 Standard Cab SWB FX4 2.7L has 21,000 miles and never had a problem with anything.
I change the oil myself each 5,000 miles and install Mobil 1 full synthetic and a Motorcraft FL-2062 oil filter.

My 2016 F150 4x4 has 270k. So far replaced 1 turbo and the throttle body. Those replacements were around 230k. Other than that regular maintenance and no issues. This is my 4th ecoboost. My other 3 were 3.5s. I ran then to around 180k with no major repairs.

I think your track record represents a good many. Sadly, the nature of the forum exposes us to to all the negative things that can go wrong.

91k on my 2016 Super Crew 2wd. I have replaced the alternator and battery.

Other than that just routine maintenance: oil change every 5 thousand miles, plugs done once, regular air filter changes, etc...

Not one leak of any fluids and still gets 21 mpg average for the lifetime of the truck.

‘16 F150 with 2.7 and I have 72,500 miles with no issues. Tow my 3500lb boat 30-50 trips every year. Have changed tires, oil, filters, and brake pads. Still have the factory battery too.

No catch can installed either and I live in Charleston, SC, a super humid city.
