I'm curious if there is anyone on here that has over 100K miles on their 2.7 EB?
If so, what if any issues have you experienced with this engine?

I wouldn't be happy about a motor failing at 108kWell... My 2016 4X4 2.7 liter XLT has 108,000 miles and is at the Ford dealership due to a cylinder #3 failure and now needs a new engine! This is setting us back for a refurb. engine at $10,650. I drove Toyota's for the past 20 years and got over 300K out of each of them. I'm very disappointed in the lack of longevity from the 2.7. I put 85K on this truck in the first 2 years, all highway miles and never towed with it. I loved the performance, ride and fuel economy and maintained the truck meticulously. Gave it to my son who has babied it up to the 108K. I now have a 2018 raptor that if Ford doesn't help me with some sort of compensation for a truck that has been on the road for 3.5 years, I will be trading the Raptor as well. The ball is in Ford's court to do the right thing, and I have many more trucks to buy in my lifetime!
You are correct, and I had an extended warranty to 100K. They have offered $2500 to date which is half of the labor to install the new engine. The fact that I just purchased a new Raptor and the 2016 puts me into them for over 150K in 3 years and not standing behind that kind of loyalty is a problem. I believe they recognize that and we'll see that happens. I don't think its enough for a truck that has been on the road for 3.5 years, IMHO.I wouldn't be happy about a motor failing at 108k
And I definitely would be influenced by that in future purchases. But I can't imagine Ford would be willing to pay for any of it. Nor Ram, Chevy, or Toyota.
Isn't that almost double the warranty mileage?

I certainly appreciate your situation and it would be nice if they gave you some help with this. However, I find your comment highlighted above interesting. Who gets to make the call when it is enough? You are correct, and I had an extended warranty to 100K. They have offered $2500 to date which is half of the labor to install the new engine. My 2016 F150 4x4 has 270k. So far replaced 1 turbo and the throttle body. Those replacements were around 230k. Other than that regular maintenance and no issues. This is my 4th ecoboost. My other 3 were 3.5s. I ran then to around 180k with no major repairs.I'm curious if there is anyone on here that has over 100K miles on their 2.7 EB?

Were the Bridgestones you had the Dueler Revo 2 or 3 model?? Or one of their all season tires like the Dueler H/T or Alenza? After driving for 2 hours in the rain on Sunday heading to an Easter get together with family, I decided I needed some new tires. Even though they still had 4/32nds left I didn't want to risk it.
The tires I had on were Bridgestone Duelers from Discount Tire. Great highway tire but I had trouble driving through pastures and gates at the farm. Not exaggerating they really were not very good off pavement.
I replaced them with Cooper AT3 4S tires as a not too aggressive all-terrain tire. I have to say I am pleased so far. Good rebate and good price at Discount Tire.
I had the duelers on my truck from the factory and they were abysmal in snow. I got stuck in a flat parking lot in 4x4 with the diff locked [emoji23]After driving for 2 hours in the rain on Sunday heading to an Easter get together with family, I decided I needed some new tires. Cooper makes great tires. I had those and they were a long running tire. Now I have the same but in XLT E version. After driving for 2 hours in the rain on Sunday heading to an Easter get together with family, I decided I needed some new tires. They were the simple LTH version. I couldn't drive across a pasture at the farm without spinning a tire. Sorry to the OP for the highjack of the thread, I thought I was in a different section. Were the Bridgestones you had the Dueler Revo 2 or 3 model?? I’d been eyeing the Revos because they are worlds lighter than comparably sized tires. Their E range weigh only slightly more than smaller p metric sizes. But if a pasture is tripping them up... yikes!!
I just bought a 2018 F150 2.7 EcoBoost with 119000.
No problems yet,but give only had it 10days.
I really am impressed with.the power this little V6 has!
