I started out with a new 2014 FX4 Screw luxury pack in Blue flame. 7200# GVW, 3:55's. Pretty much all options other than Max tow and Apperance pack. Built in November of 2014 and I bought it March of 2015.

Bought the truck from family that work at a dealer, great deal as I was able to get it for less than used. Downside is it was 600miles away. Thankfully, my Uncle delivered it for me.

I had them put 3M on the bumper and do a Spray in liner. They did a great job with both.

Day I got it.

I already had a 2" AS level for it that I put in a couple of days later

The kit came with a 3" rear block, but I figured it would put too much rake back in for my taste.
on level ground, it measures perfectly level. I would have liked a bit of rake, but I address that later on...much later.

Yeah, they changed the plug when they went to the plastic pans in the 15+ Ecos. I prefer the Fumoto as it directs the flow straight down and you can throw a hose on it if you like. I now have limited space with the skid plate, so this made sense. On a side note, I was worried about getting at the front filter with the skid plate, but can reach it no problem.

Yea but they didn't go to plastic on the 15+ eco's because my brother owns a 2015 3.5 ecoboost, and I own a 2016 3.5 ecoboost and both are metal pans and bolt. Maybe they did in the 2.7? I don't know, but I know for fact they didn't on the 3.5's.

Full Race Cat-back has landed state-side. I will go and pick it up this weekend. I took Monday off so I may get a chance to install then.

Fingers crossed, I don't have to swap out the muffler for a Magnaflow fatty.

FR cat back is on. As usual, very nicely put together with quality pieces. Installed very easy. Tip is nicely tucked and shouldn’t impede while messing off-road.
I’ll be interested in reading your thoughts on the way it sounds. I’ve been looking at these for a while.

Wow!! Just WOW! I love the out doors and truly appreciate nature and what it has to offer, I plan on imprinting my boys to nature as well with future planned vacations, there is so much to do outside and disconnect from fake news and technology.. someday I'll make it up north and experience the deep wilderness with my growing family.

Enjoy every moment of that, seeing those pictures makes me so graceful to have my vision.. being there would make me appreciate my ears and legs.

That exhaust sounds almost exactly like mine. I have the stock downpipes so mine is a little quieter and has less turbo noise. The tone is spot on though.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I believe we are running the same Magnaflow Muffler. I’m running O/R downpipes with it, and it sounds very similar to this Full race setup. Nice and mellow with plenty of whistle thanks to the DP. Did I mention no rasp at WOT?

I was going to go the Magnaflow route, but wanted all SS and by the time the exhaust guys got there hands on the truck the labor would have put it only a couple hundred short of the Full Race kit.

Just drove a little more than 100 miles to Seattle tonight, it's the right tone and volume for me. Couldn't be happier.

it kinda sounds like stock exhaust with no resonator (tremor comes factory delete) just more whistle, I think that's more due to the downpipes breathing better.

I am looking to find a used FR catback for tremor, not a lot of 126" out there.

#213 ·
I agree, tone is similar, but volume is a bit higher. However, I did notice that a resonator delete on the stock cat-back is considerably more restrictive. Spool up and how it pulls in higher RPMs is noticeably improved with the 'ol butt dyno. Real Dyno numbers will be coming soon. More of a difference with the FR DP's, then stock DP's.

For your tremor, you'll have to buy one and modify if you want the resonator. If you don't, it's a simply cutting a chunk of pip out in front of the muffler.

#214 ·
I agree, the cat back will be louder at WOT.

No i dont want a resonator. I will always have stock downpipes. It is quite enough before WOT with stock downpipes.

FR makes a 126 cat back, i just wanna find a used one.

I realize that, in that case I would have to take it somewhere to get cut and welded and also hope I measured right. a 126" to my door I can install with hand tools.

Sorry if off topic

#217 ·
No worries at all about being off topic. No welding required, you cut the pipe (hacksaw/sawzall, etc.), dress your cut with a round file or emery cloth. You can use a SS flat exhaust clamp to re-connect or take the piece to an exhaust shop and have them stretch the pipe. easy peasy.

If you're worried about cutting it incorrectly, pop out your stock exhaust, line it all up and measure (twice) before you cut. Beauty is if you really mess up, FR will sell you the front pipe with the ball flange.

Or, just by the 145" used exhaust and the ball-flange pipe for the 126" wheelbase.

Came across a deal on a BNIB Smittybilt X20 10k winch. So I picked it up.

After talking with the Wife, we've decided that it's time to get back out camping and exploring.

So even though it will come at a weight penalty, I'm going to get some gear to set up the truck for more exploring.

So what I'm thinking

- Built Right Industries Bed rack system
- Usual 4x4 recovery gear (already have most of it, but it will be mounted on the racks)
- Rotopax Gas and water cans
- line-x OEM fender flares and bed rails (to match the texture and look of the Raptor running boards)
- Custom (see Patched together) commercial rack system that will mount to bed rails
- Roof top tent. Still on the fence, but found that I can rent one. So we'll try it out and decide from there
- Winch (purchased) with hidden mount
- Winch recovery gear (already have most of it)
- Solar panel set up

I was hoping to pull a trigger on a new rad from Full Race, but it will have to wait a few months. I want to get all the above gear purchased and sorted out.

RoughCountry 1010 hidden Winch mount ordered up. Hopefully I can get the winch in sometime before March. A ton of business travel coming up.
