Taking in my 2015 2.7 ecoboost to the dealer. 99.9% sure its the oil pan. 80k miles, still under extended mile warranty or I'd be trading this for a non Ford product(Toyota). Plastic oil pan is BS.

Oh my trade in on a Toyota because of a freaking oil leak... That's pathetic.

Didn’t you have an oil leak problem with this truck a couple of years ago?

Form a gasket is used almost extensively on most vehicles now.

They likely have a torquing before its set up issue in the factory.

There is no gasket from my understanding. I'm pretty sure there is a TSB out on the problem. Any way I took it to the dealer and they "fixed" it. Then not even a week later I noticed the oil spot in front of my house is going larger lol. It has to go back. When my 3 year old business truck goes down for 3 day I'm pissed off. This is the second time this truck has been down. First time was for over a week with less than 1000 miles in it.

But here is the thing, the leak was being absorbed by the diaper(cover) under the oil pan. How many other trucks are out there with this same problem and they don't even know about it? I drive over 30k miles a year and do my own oil changes.

I'm driving a 2018 F150 2.7 EcoBoost. Oil pan just changed again for the second time this year. Now its leaking again. Working so many hours I dont have time to take it in. Last time they had it one whole week. I will be filing a complaint. Leaked two oil changes ago and again a couple of weeks ago.......
