Absolutely no doubt about it.
And getting way too common.

I just roll with it though. 🤣🤣

Currently I took delivery on a new Platinum F150 crew which only has 3900 accumulated miles to date. While I ordered the max trailer tow with 373 gears, the fuel economy has been erratic and poor at best delivering only 13.8/14.5 city and 17.9 hwy. I'm seeking anyone with similar power train to determine what mpg they may be getting.
I am running about 14 over all most in city. Highway about 17 with a very heavy right foot.

Thats about me, on e30 with town and commuter freeway mix, but when I swap to the AO Tune on long trips its close to 19 hand calculated...... these things like to drink when in town and I am on the pedal with a heavy foot.....Lol why cause its fun!

Sitting around 17.6 currently, does nothing but hilly state highway drives to town. Has actually gone up to this number from 15ish when I lived in the burbs.
All that coasting downhill adds up!

Yes! Or at least that what’s I’ve figured since moving here, it seems as though the coasting downhill greatly makes up for the burn to get up them especially when going along at a good speed for momentum’s sake. And it’s baby rolling hills I’m in N.LA not Colorado lol

Honestly, I've never seen a hill in Louisiana. Well, except the man-made ones.

But admittedly I also rarely venture from the coastline when I'm traveling east<>west.
Definitely none in the south, those hills are called levees 😂 we have 1 mountain in the state and it makes the mark by 32ish feet if I remember right, I’m about 40 min south of the mountain. Way up north from i10.

Although I haven't used more than a few tanks of gas in my truck, I am super happy at the mileage. Display regularly reads low 20's for everyday driving. First tank, I drove up to my cabin, got home and topped my tank and the DTE was 810miles! Couldn't believe it! On that tank, I drove to work for 5 days (32 mi RT/day), up and back to my cabin (276 mixed miles) and pulled my boat (5000#) around home for 100 miles with some other driving. I still ended up getting 19.3 mpg, hand calculated, average for the tank. Not complaining at all, love it! 2015, 2.7, 206k miles.

I have a question for anyone that knows. I will get my ecoboost tomorrow for the first time. Has anyone tried super premium gas ? I was told by someone that has one . It really improved the gas mpg. Has anyone else seen the same result?
I normally run 93 unless I have no other choice. I’ve run 91, 89, 87, both on factory tune and tunes to utilize those different octanes. I don’t see enough power OR mpg increase to justify the cost. I do it bc Top Tier 93 octane has attributes that aren’t found in lesser fuels. I also keep cars 200k+ miles, and don’t want them barely operable by that time .
