Well, 2 at the same time did not work on mine. It's one or the other. Maybe some adapters do support more than one device, but mine does not. Separately, you're gold. Either of those apps no problem. Across different OS also. Torque pro is not available on IOS store fyi. I believe that's Android only. But Forscan Lite functions much the same as Torque pro, just the eye candy is different.

Yes android. I am going to try to free version of torque. When i switch to sync 3, you can apparently put some gauges onto the sync 3 screen through android auto.

I actually have Carplay/Android Auto on my aftermarket deck. You got me thinking about getting some gauges on my deck with Torque pro on my 7" tablet. Only downfall is my 150GB of music on my phone, Sirius XM app, phone, text and Waze will be gone while that's up.

It can no longer be done. Android auto has made torque pro a banned app while driving. Used to have full torque on the sync 3 though. I'm really sad that you can't anymore

Can still use a cheap old 7" tablet like I do for torque. If it's not hooked up to AA, it works just fine.

I ordered my dongle, I got the better one people recommened, MX something for like 80 bucks.

I began researching forscan. I thought i saw a code you could enable navigtion and text imput while in motion on sync 3. Would this not allow torque to display gauges? I cant figure out why this would be banned? We have radio, touch screen and speed guages and all why would this be a big deal?

Does anyone know if you can retrieve your KEY CUT CODE through forscan and PATS system or something? I am going to install remote start on my truck. I can program the keys myself, however the thing I cannot do is cut them myself. My Ford guy says I would need to have a 5 digit key cute code (this is not keyless entry code) to cut this and only the dealer can do this?

I already found the two places to change settings using froscan to enable remote start. The second one puts opitions under the SETTINGS line on the LCD screen between gauges on upper level trucks.

Welp guys, tonight i plugged in the remote start, took about 5min behind glove box and then programmed it to work on Forscan...and it worked!

Truck is driving and starts so i dont think i messed anything up. I programmed a couple other things im going to mention in my thread.
